“Healthier” Gluten-Free Alfredo with Italian Sausage

Let’s make a creamy, dreamy pasta alfredo bowl—gluten-free and lightened up! You will want to add this to your dinner rotation!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Jovial gluten-free pasta
  • 1 pack Bilinski’s Italian chicken sausage
  • 1/2 cup butter (I used Kerrygold)
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut cream
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese

Garnish (optional)

  • Red pepper flakes
  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Microgreens
  • Parsley

Instructions:

  1. Sauté your chicken sausage to liking in a separate skillet (I like to cut mine into about 1/4 inch slices so they can cook thoroughly).
  2. Cook your pasta. Save 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
  3. Add butter and coconut cream to a large skillet on medium heat, and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper for about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the parmesan cheese.
  6. Combine everything in a bowl.

And there you have it—rich, creamy alfredo but gluten-free, lighter, and absolutely delicious!
