Organic Gluten-Free Apple Pie Crunch Protein Yogurt Bowl

Alright, protein yogurt bowl lovers, here’s recipe number TWO in our protein-packed breakfast series! 🍎🥣 If you have a sweet tooth like I do, this will be your new favorite way to start your day. 

This 40 gram protein breakfast keeps me full, focused, and totally satisfied with no snack cravings before lunch! And the best part? It tastes like dessert without all the sugar. 🤩

Organic Gluten-Free Apple Pie Crunch Protein Yogurt Bowl Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Just Ingredients Vanilla Bean flavor)
  • 2 tbsp granola (I used One Degree GF sprouted honey hemp granola)
  • Handful of walnuts
  • 1 apple (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala work well), diced (I used honeycrisp)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil or butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (and some extra for topping)
  • A pinch of salt

Organic Gluten-Free Apple Pie Crunch Protein Yogurt Bowl Instructions:

  1. Start by sautéing a chopped apple with some coconut oil, salt and cinnamon. Cook for about 7 minutes until the apples chunks are tender.
  2. Take apples off heat and let cool. Once cool, stir in your vanilla extract.
  3. While the apples are cooling, make your yogurt base. Add yogurt and protein powder and mix until smooth. At first, it won’t look like they’ll mix but I promise it will. Just keep stirring, slowly.
  4. Top your bowl with walnuts, granola, cinnamon, and your sautéed apples

That’s it! Sweet, creamy, crunchy perfection in about 10 minutes! 💛 Enjoy at home or take it on the go to have in the office.
